Strawberry Lemonade

Sunday, December 15, 2013

Friday night, an actor on TV had a line that included the words "cold lemonade" and I've been thinking of wanting a strawberry lemonade ever since. It just sounds sooo yummy, even in this cold weather!

Saturday morning I woke early to get a few things started; two quilts to get quilted for a customer and Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice Clue #3. As I was putting together my blocks, I was once again thinking of strawberry lemonade. I wonder why?

A while later, I loaded the first of the two quilts that needed to get done this weekend. The first is yellow and gray top. (quilted with Verdant panto and light gray thread)

And the second quilt pink and white. (quilted in white with Frisky Feathers panto)

Pink and yellow backings!

It's been a strawberry lemonade kinda day!

Take a peek at Bonnie's Mystery Monday Link-Up, Part 3, to see everyone's progress.

I saw your photo of Solstice piecing on Quiltville.com.
LOVE the colors and shades you have selected. Reminds me of cool Sherbert!
