Journaling from My Garden

Thursday, May 2, 2013

So many across the states are experiencing bad weather, but it's a beautiful day here in California and I was compelled to try taking some pictures outside in the garden.

The owner of this quilt pieces some of the cutest backings -- I will have to remember to share some pictures of them sometime. The panto she chose for this quilt is Garden Frills by Beany Girls and the thread a variegated by Superior, So Fine! #40.

This colorful quilt has a sister (below). For the sister quilt, we went with a different panto, Bloomin Stars by Beany Girls, and again a variegated So Fine!#40 thread. For both quilts I used Isacord in the bobbin.

It was fun to take pictures in my yard. I hope you enjoyed the change of scenery!
